Victoria expressed an interest for helping others from a very young age and had dreams of working in healthcare. After moving to the US from her native Mexico, she completed a Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2005 and cared for adults in Critical Care for 8 years in Arizona and Texas. Throughout her career as a bedside nurse, she considered applying to Graduate School and hoped to make greater contributions to the health of patients. Unsure about the pathway to take, she passed the Critical Care certification (CCRN) exam, which would have allowed her entrance into any Nurse Anesthesia Program.  She ultimately decided to pursue a degree in Nurse Practitioner and graduated with honors in 2013. 

Besides being a Nurse Practitioner, Victoria is a Clinical Trial sub-investigator for a local specialty practice in Tacoma and has helped develop novel medications for the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Seeking a better life-work balance as a single mother of 2, she obtained her Aesthetic Injectables Certification. Since then, she has attended numerous aesthetic trainings and began treating family and colleagues. Encouraged by her friends and peers, Victoria created Rainier Blossom in the Spring of 2024. Through her aesthetics practice, Victoria is able to blend her experience with her strong commitment to helping others feel their best. 

 Stop fine lines in their tracks! Wrinkles are caused by the repetitive contraction of the muscles that allow us to make facial expressions. By temporarily relaxing the muscles underlying your skin, and blocking the nerve responses that allow those muscles to contract, botulinum toxin A, or botox®, helps prevent new wrinkles from forming and can also make existing ones appear less pronounced.

 By injecting small doses of botox® to temporarily paralyze the muscles around the upper lip, you can achieve a temporarily fuller top lip without using dermal fillers. This popular treatment is called a lip flip.

 As we age, we all experience atrophy of the fat pads that support our face and selective resorption of the facial bones, while ligaments lose strength and integrity. Weakness of ligamentous structures contribute to the formation of grooves, tear troughs, and eye bags. 

The volume lost can lead to sagging skin and lines of expression, especially around the corners of the mouth, leading to marionette lines. Strategically placing dermal filler replaces lost volume, and provides support the overall structure of your skin, giving you a more youthful appearance.

Atrophy of the muscles around the mouth results in longer, thinner and less voluminous lips. By replacing lost volume and adding structure through the use of hyaluronic acid, you can temporarily change or improve the shape and appearance of your lips.

Not all fillers are created equal and different brands have unique structures and features that differentiate them and how they behave in your body once injected. The science of being a great injector lies in having strong knowledge about anatomy and important structures to avoid.  The art of a great injector lies in having strong knowledge about the products' characteristics, proper patient selection and treatment execution. 

 During this procedure, a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers of the skin. Chemical peels can vary in intensity from superficial to medium and deep. The depth of the peel depends on the strength of the chemical used, and the effects can range from mild surface exfoliation to deep skin resurfacing. 

The goal of this treatment is to remove damaged or dead skin cells, and reveal fresher, healthier skin. Recovery time varies depending on the depth of the peel. Superficial peels require little downtime, while medium to deep peels may involve several days of recovery as the skin heals.   Micro-needling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses tiny sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the top layers of the skin. Unlike chemical peels, micro-needling promotes skin regeneration from within. Micro-needling can improve a variety of skin concerns ranging from skin laxity, hyperpigmentation (dark spots), fine lines (wrinkles), enlarged pores, deep acne scars, and even stretch marks! 

A numbing solution is applied prior to the treatment to alleviate discomfort. After micro-needling, the skin may appear red and slightly swollen for a few days, but there is minimal downtime, and most people can return to normal activities within 24-48 hours.

 Bimatoprost is the first FDA-approved prescription treatment to grow fuller, longer and thicker eyelashes. This powerful solution is believed to prolong the active growth phase of lashes, although the exact way it works is still unknown. 

On clean skin and after removing contact lenses (if applicable), you will place one drop of Bimatoprost nightly along the base of the upper eyelashes using the disposable sterile applicator.  You should not apply Bimatoprost to the lower eyelash line and any excess solution outside the upper eyelid margin should be blotted dry with a tissue or other absorbent material.
