AESTHETICS ROOTED IN EXPERIENCE

VICTORIA LOYA, ARNP, FNP-C

Caring for others has always been part of who I am. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in healthcare and help people feel better in their own bodies. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2005. I then spent eight years working in Critical Care units in Arizona and Texas, caring for adults during some of their most vulnerable moments. Those years taught me not only strong clinical skills, but also the importance of listening, empathy, and trust.

As my career grew, I felt called to do more for my patients. I explored several advanced practice paths and earned my Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification along the way, which would have allowed me entrance into any Nurse Anesthesia Program in the US.  Ultimately, I followed my passion for whole-person care and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors in 2013.

Today, in addition to caring for patients at a local specialty practice in Tacoma, I also work as a Clinical Trial sub-investigator. I’ve been fortunate to help contribute to the development of new treatments for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, including Omvoh for Eli Lilly, and I’m currently involved in research evaluating combination biologic therapies for the treatment of IBD for Johnson & Johnson. Being part of this work allows me to stay at the forefront of medicine and bring that knowledge back to my patients.

As a single mother, I was also searching for a career path that allowed for balance, creativity, and connection. That journey led me to aesthetic medicine. After becoming certified in aesthetic injectables, I spent over a decade treating friends, family, and colleagues, and fell in love with helping people feel confident, refreshed, and like the best version of themselves. With the encouragement of everyone I treated, I opened Rainier Blossom Aesthetics in the Spring of 2024. Through my practice, I’m able to blend my medical experience with a genuine passion for helping others feel beautiful, empowered, and well cared for—inside and out.
